Job Title: Professional Shop Retail Supervisor
Location: Long Sutton Golf Club, Long Load, Langport, Somerset, TA10 9JU
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

About Us:
Long Sutton Golf Club is a well-established, friendly, and thriving golf club set in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Our Pro Shop is a key part of the club, serving both members and guests with top-level service, expert advice, and quality products. We’re now seeking a passionate and driven Pro-Shop Retail Supervisor to support the shop in its next exciting chapter.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all day-to-day operations of the Pro Shop.
Support Pro Shop Team with inventory decisions, including stock control, ordering, product placement, and merchandising.
Develop and execute marketing strategies to boost sales and shop visibility.
Deliver high levels of customer service and support.
Identify new business opportunities and avenues for growth to ensure the continued success and evolution of the shop.
Ensure all systems and customer service processes are maintained to the highest standard.
Work collaboratively with the professional team to align shop performance with wider club goals.

About You:

Previous retail or Pro Shop retail experience (preferably in a golf or leisure environment).
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Excellent knowledge of golf products and the golf industry (desirable).
Commercially minded with a passion for delivering great customer experiences.
Organised, self-motivated, and proactive in identifying opportunities for growth.
Comfortable using point-of-sale systems, stock management software, and basic digital marketing tools.
