Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment dedicated to patient care and practice efficiency. Previous office experience and administrative skills are highly valued in this position.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival

Manage appointment scheduling and cancellations efficiently

Answer phone calls and respond to patient enquiries promptly

Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed

Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing payments

Experience

Prior office or administrative experience is preferred

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment

Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office or similar programmes is desirable

This role is ideal for individuals who are professional, approachable, and eager to contribute to a positive patient experience within a supportive dental team.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
