Job Summary

Watermead Day Nursery are looking for an amazing "Superstar" educator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, passionate and competent childcare team.

We are looking for a highly experienced Early years educator with a good knowledge of Reggio Emilia and The Curiosity Approach who is looking for a new challenge.

You will be working as part of a "Superstar" team.

Your responsibilities are:

To work in partnership with Senior Management Team.
To assist with monitoring staff to ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
To work in partnership with the team.
To work in partnership with parents/ guardians.
To promote and encourage a stimulating environment for children following The Curiosity Approach.
To monitor staff if necessary, mentor and support their development and manage any issues.
Qualifications and experience:CACHE level 3, NNEB, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
Excellent organisational skills.
Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
Knowledge of Ofsted's welfare standards.
Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities.
A passion for delivering outstanding childcare and learning opportunities.
A positive, approachable disposition.

Job Type / Category

Maternity cover.
Full Time- Opportunity to work 4 long days with a rest day.
This role will be subject to an Enhance DBS and satisfactory references.
