Full job description

Hours Monday - Friday - 8:00am - 5:30pm
We are seeking a professional and organised Admin/Receptionist to join our team. This role involves providing excellent administrative support, managing front desk operations, and ensuring smooth communication within the office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, be proficient with computer applications, and demonstrate excellent phone etiquette. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their administrative career in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
Answer incoming calls promptly and direct them appropriately
Manage appointment scheduling and calendar organisation
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace
Maintain organised filing systems, both digital and physical
Assist with general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing
Support team members with administrative tasks as required
Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times

Experience

Previous office experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for all necessary systems and procedures
Proficiency with computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Experience with data entry and clerical tasks demonstrating attention to detail
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute is desirable
Administrative experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage

Pay: £16.50-£16.85 per hour
