As we continue to grow, Care is Central is excited to welcome passionate and like-minded Senior Care Assistants (days, nights, or a mix of both) to our team. If you are compassionate, motivated, and dedicated to making a real difference in people’s lives, we would love to hear from you.

We are looking for individuals who can deliver empathetic, person-centred care, while confidently leading and supporting a team of Care Assistants within a well-established and friendly environment.

Marigold House is a beautifully designed 63-bed residential care home, and one of only two in the UK built to Passivhaus standards. This means it is exceptionally energy-efficient, sustainable, and designed to provide not only outstanding care, but an exceptional living and working environment.

Main Duties of a Senior Care Assistant:

Lead and support a team of Care Assistants on shift, organising workloads and delegating tasks effectively
Provide high-quality care and support, including personal care, continence care, moving and handling
Act as the first point of contact and emergency responder in the event of incidents within the home
Safely manage and administer medication
Supervise and mentor care staff to ensure excellent standards of care
Develop, implement, and maintain individual care plans
Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals
Use IT systems confidently for care planning and record-keeping
Carry out audits, spot checks, and stock controls
Help maintain a safe, homely, and welcoming environment
Support the Team Leaders, Deputy Manager and Registered Manager as required

What We Need From You:

Minimum 1 years’ experience working in a care setting supporting vulnerable adults
Eligible to work in the UK (please note we do not offer sponsorship)
Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
A caring and compassionate nature with a desire to enhance others’ quality of life
Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check (paid for by us)
