Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Part Time Bar Member to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all members. The ideal candidate will have good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time employment including evening and weekend work. This job is all year round not just for the summer. Must be 18 or over.

Responsibilities

Greet members warmly and take drink orders with professionalism and enthusiasm
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
Manage cash register transactions accurately and efficiently including cashing up at end of shift
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Assist in setting up the bar before opening and closing procedures at the end of shifts
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing any queries or concerns promptly
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Adhere to licensing laws and responsible service of alcohol policies

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
Experience in serving or bartending roles is beneficial but not mandatory
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Good basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure

Pay: £12.71 per hour
