About The Role

Job Title: Customer Service Controller

Salary: Competitive

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00-17:00

Here you can build on your knowledge and find your specialty at one of our sites or on the road – the opportunities are endless.

As a Customer Service Controller, you will be the day‑to‑day contact for our customers, ensuring they receive timely updates, accurate information, and a consistently high standard of service. You’ll coordinate customer requirements with operational teams, resolve queries efficiently, and support the delivery of agreed service levels. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships and contributing to overall service performance.

Main purpose of the role:

Managing customer enquiries via telephone and email, ensuring professional and timely responses.
Coordinating customer requirements with internal teams to support smooth operational delivery.
Providing regular updates on service status, schedules, and performance.
Producing customer reports and maintaining accurate records and information.
Supporting continuous improvement by identifying service trends and sharing customer feedback.
Promoting a positive customer experience and helping strengthen long‑term relationships.

The Person:

Previous experience in customer service, coordination, or a similar role (essential).
Strong administrative skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
A proactive, customer‑focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience within automotive, logistics, transport, fleet, or service industries would be advantageous.
Full UK Driving Licence (Due to the site remoteness and no public transport available)
