Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and attentive Night Porter & Receptionist to provide exceptional guest services during overnight hours and daytime shifts. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, manage reception duties efficiently, and uphold the high standards of our hospitality establishment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and guest relations, looking to contribute to a welcoming environment.

Duties

Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures in a courteous manner
Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with excellent phone etiquette
Maintain security protocols by monitoring the premises during night hours
Manage reservations, cancellations, and room allocations accurately using the booking system
Respond promptly to guest requests or issues, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction
Perform administrative tasks such as logging incidents, preparing reports, and managing correspondence
Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly
Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with hotel policies

Experience

Previous experience in hotel reception or hospitality is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly advantageous for effective communication with diverse guests
Proven ability to deliver excellent guest services with professionalism and discretion
Familiarity with hotel management software or reservation systems is desirable
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently
Experience in handling guest complaints or queries with tact and diplomacy is beneficial

This role is ideal for individuals who are organised, personable, and capable of working independently during night shifts. We value candidates who demonstrate a genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Pay: £13.00 per hour
