Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site Administration Assistant role based in Astwood Bank, Redditch. The Administration Assistant will provide day-to-day support to ensure the smooth operation of the office, including managing incoming calls, greeting visitors, and handling general inquiries. Responsibilities include maintaining paper and electronic filing systems, preparing and processing documents, data entry, and scheduling meetings or appointments as required. The role will support senior team members with administrative tasks, such as organising calendars, preparing meeting materials, coordinating travel or logistics when needed and updating our social media platforms. The Administration Assistant will also assist with ordering office supplies, monitoring stock levels, and liaising with vendors to maintain an organised and professional working environment.

Qualifications

Strong administrative assistance and clerical skills, including filing, data entry, document preparation, and record keeping.
Professional phone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and relay information clearly and courteously.
Experience providing executive administrative assistance, such as calendar management, meeting coordination, and preparing basic reports or presentations.
Proficiency with common office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets) and comfort with learning new digital tools.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy office environment.
Ability to work on-site in Astwood Bank, Redditch, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
Previous experience in an office administration or similar support role is advantageous; relevant vocational training or a related qualification is a plus.
Previously worked within the construction industry (desirable)
