Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move, load, and unload goods within our facility. Your expertise will ensure the smooth flow of inventory, support shipping and receiving operations, and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation while honing your mechanical skills and warehouse management knowledge.

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, transport, and position materials throughout the facility
Assist with shipping and receiving processes by accurately handling inbound and outbound shipments
Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements, update records, and ensure data accuracy
Perform routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal forklift performance
Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and organization in designated areas
Support warehouse operations by performing basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular safety checks

Requirements

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting
Valid forklift certification or license as required by local regulations
Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory movements
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of materials handling procedures and safety standards
Ability to lift heavy loads consistently and perform physically demanding tasks
Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and recording inventory data accurately
