Flooring Sales Executive

Location: Ilford, Essex (IG6 3HQ)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £32,600 Basic + Uncapped Commission Realistic OTE: £50,000–£70,000+

Looking for your next opportunity in flooring sales?

Woodfloors4u is a well-established and growing flooring supplier based in Ilford, serving both trade and retail customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Flooring Sales Executive to help grow our customer base, develop new business and build long-term client relationships.

This is a genuine sales role, ideal for someone with experience in wood flooring, engineered flooring, laminate flooring, LVT or the wider flooring industry who enjoys winning business and being rewarded for their results.

Your primary focus will be developing our established flooring business through business development, account management and customer retention. Alongside this, you'll have the opportunity to help launch and grow our exciting new Flexible Stone Sheets product range, giving you additional earning potential and genuine opportunities to progress as the business expands.

The Role

This isn't an order-taking position.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and developing new business. You'll manage the entire sales process, from generating leads and preparing quotations through to closing sales and providing excellent after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new business through outbound sales and business development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with trade and retail customers.
Manage existing customer accounts and identify opportunities for growth.
Prepare quotations and convert enquiries into profitable sales.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Follow up quotations, specifications and outstanding opportunities.
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales journey.
Maintain excellent product knowledge across our flooring ranges.
Help develop sales within our new Flexible Stone Sheets division.
Generate leads through networking, referrals and social media platforms including Instagram and LinkedIn.
Work closely with colleagues to support continued business growth.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

Previous experience in flooring sales or a related industry.
A proven track record in sales and business development.
Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
A confident and professional telephone manner.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities.
A proactive, target-driven attitude with the ambition to maximise earnings.

What We Offer

£32,600 basic salary.
Uncapped commission with realistic OTE of £50,000–£70,000+ per year.
