Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Phone Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mobile devices and related hardware. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will contribute to delivering high-quality repair services, ensuring customer satisfaction through expert technical support and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Diagnose faults in mobile phones and electronic devices using schematics and technical manuals
Perform repairs on various phone models, including screen replacements, battery swaps, and component repairs
Utilise hand tools and specialised equipment to disassemble and reassemble devices with precision
Conduct maintenance on hardware components to ensure optimal device performance
Troubleshoot issues related to computer hardware, networking, and device connectivity as needed
Follow safety procedures during all repair processes to prevent damage or injury
Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts utilised for each device
Keep work area organised and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance
Proficiency with hand tools used in electronic repairs
Familiarity with computer hardware components and repair techniques
Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately
Experience with computer repair and troubleshooting, including networking fundamentals
Knowledge of computer networking principles relevant to device connectivity issues
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documenting repair processes
Ability to work independently while adhering to safety standards and quality guidelines
