Full job description

We are a very well established, busy, private dental practice in Swanage, Dorset. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist / administrator to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will provide excellent patient care, manage appointments, and maintain our practice's administrative systems. While this is predominantly a front of house role, a flexible all-rounder would suit our practice, so any previous dental experience or a qualified dental nurse to work within both reception and surgery would be an advantage

At Regency Dental we are commited to providing excellent dental treatment and care to our patients. We provide as well as general dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, dental whitening and facial aesthetics. We are seeking a person who is presentable, personable has the same principles as we have in place at the practice to join us. As our receptionist/administrator you will be the first contact with our patients both present and new and the first impression needs to reflect this.

We require an excellent standard English, good organisation and communication skills. You need to be able to work well under pressure, and be a team player.

Dental nurse qualification/ dental experience would be a benefit but not essential.

Hours Part time

Monday 07.45 - 17.00

Wednesday 07.45 - 17.30

Friday 07.45 - 17.00

Pay scale depending on experience

Starting from £13.50 depending on experience

Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage appointment scheduling
Handle patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with regulations.
Answer phone calls, emails and respond to inquiries with clear communication.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth office operations.
Plus other duties
