Full job description

Job Summary

Do you love inspiring young people to be active, creative, and confident? Join our team for the Holiday Activities and Food Programme, and assist with the delivery of fun, hands on sessions including sports, dance, arts & crafts, music, gaming, cooking, and more!

We have 16 days of work available, based on 4 days per week over a 4-week period. Dates include;

13th July - 16th July
20th July - 23rd July
27th July - 30th July
3rd August - 6th August

Responsibilities

Assist staff in delivering sports, arts & crafts, music, gaming, cooking, and other activities.
Act as a positive role model, demonstrating appropriate behaviour and communication skills
Support children and young people with varying abilities, including SEND provision.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support young people's needs
Supervise and engage with young people in various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
Encourage participation, teamwork, and social interaction.
Provide 1-to-1 or small group support as needed.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with diverse groups of young people

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about youth development and committed to creating positive community impacts. Applicants should demonstrate enthusiasm for mentoring and supervising young people while maintaining professionalism at all times.
