Full job description

Brass Castle Brewery are looking for charismatic, experienced and performance driven person to be our Sales Manager.

From the beautiful market town of Malton in North Yorkshire, our gluten free, vegan, award winning beers have been turning heads since 2011. After a huge investment in a state-of-the-art brewing and cold storage facility, we’re looking for someone to help take us to the next level.

As our Sales Manager your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the sales team to drive the growth of the business.

- Directly driving volume, revenue, and brand awareness

- Actively identifying opportunities and secure new customers.

- Maintaining and developing customer relationships that are key to the business, with particular focus on wholesale and volume

- Working with brewery management software (Viewplan) and sales platform (Sellar)

- Identifying and establishing potential areas of growth for sales.

- Advising the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on beer styles, branding and packaging formats that will prove popular to our market.

- Working with the SLT to organise and implement marketing campaigns.

- Working closely with Operations and the dray team to organise efficient delivery runs and make best use of drivers.

- Advising on areas of the business that we can develop to reach our full potential.

- Maintaining an understanding of stock levels and sales needs

- Loading vans and occasional deliveries as and when needed.

The following skills are essential to the role

- Direct experience of brewery sales to on and off trade, experience of exporting a bonus

- In depth knowledge and understanding of the beer industry, specifically relating to craft

beer and market trends.

- Full clean UK driving licence

- The right to work in the UK

- Be over 25 year old (for vehicle insurance purposes)

Salary from £38,000 (depending on experience)based on a 40 hour week, with room to increase as the business develops and successful sales growth is achieved. The role would be predominantly based at the brewery in Malton and on the road with customers face to face. Deadline for applications: Friday 17th July 2026
