The Role

You’ll be the Kitchen Manager’s right hand person. Someone who loves a busy service, takes pride in great food, and enjoys being part of building a strong kitchen team. We’re looking for a Sous Chef who wants to get stuck into every part of running a kitchen – from service and prep through to organisation, standards, and developing new dishes.

What you’ll be doing

Leading the kitchen when the Kitchen Manager is off
Driving standards and helping the team produce their best work
Working on the line during busy brunch services
Ensuring all prep is completed to a high standard (we make everything in house)
Only sending food to the pass that you’re proud of
Keeping the kitchen organised, clean and efficient
Managing deliveries and stock organisation
Following food safety procedures and completing required paperwork

A chef who genuinely cares about good ingredients and fresh food
Someone who enjoys the buzz of a busy kitchen
A willingness to learn, improve and help others do the same

Who you’ll be working with

You’ll work closely with Sam, our Kitchen Manager, supporting them in running the kitchen day-to-day.

Many of our team progress internally. The natural next step would be Kitchen Manager, leading your own kitchen, developing the team, and helping shape future menus.
