Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various residential and commercial properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in hospitality or janitorial services to utilise their skills in a professional environment. The position is paid, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise all designated areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, and bedrooms
Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness
Change bed linens and organise items as required
Dispose of rubbish and replenish supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials
Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good condition and stored appropriately
Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Adhere to client-specific instructions regarding cleaning preferences and special requests

Experience

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is highly desirable
Experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning roles is advantageous
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
