Full job description

£250 WELCOME BONUS PAID AFTER COMPLETION OF INDUCTION*

Are you passionate about working with young children? Do you want to make a positive difference in children's lives? We are looking for kind, nurturing, and patient Room Leaders for one of our baby rooms, with excellent communication skills.

Early Years Qualifications and experience are required, as is a positive attitude and a caring nature. The successful applicant will be working 10-hour shifts over 4 days per week (Monday to Friday) for an excellent work-life balance.

Location - Ashbridge Nursery, Lindle Lane, Preston, PR4 4AQ

As part of your role, you be responsible for the children’s emotional wellbeing and will be working alongside our established team to plan interesting and exciting activities for the children's continuous learning and development. You will also be developing close relationships with our children and their families. We have a strong outdoor ethos, so all candidates will enjoy being outside, no matter the weather (we provide a fantastic uniform to keep everybody warm and dry!)

IS THIS THE PERFECT JOB FOR YOU?

An experienced Room Leader OR an experienced Nursery Practitioner with a minimum of 2 years experience
A minimum level 3 Qualification in Early Years (or related subject)
A strong working knowledge of the EYFS (revisions)
Ability to use initiative to inspire children
A passionate, nurturing and quality driven approach
A love of the outdoors!
Good organisational skills
Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
Experience with childcare software - Connect Childcare preferable
