Duty Manager – Hospitality‑Led Venue

Bring your hospitality leadership to a venue that does more. We’re looking for experienced hospitality managers — people who’ve led busy bars, restaurants or all‑day dining spaces — to join our Duty Manager team. If you know how to run a smooth shift, keep a team motivated, and deliver warm, memorable service even on the busiest nights, you’ll fit right in. As a Duty Manager, you’ll guide our bar, restaurant, cinema and activities teams, keeping the venue flowing with the same energy and guest focus you’re used to in hospitality. You’ll lead the floor, support your department, manage stock and safety, and help create the effortless, welcoming atmosphere we are is known for. Role Overview

Our Duty Managers are the operational heartbeat — the people who keep the energy high, the service smooth, and the experience effortless from morning coffees to late‑night cocktails. They lead the floor with confidence, warmth and a calm, considered presence, ensuring every part of the venue runs safely, efficiently and with a genuine focus on hospitality.

Whether overseeing our bar, in-house dining, activities or cinema spaces, Duty Managers balance guest experience with strong commercial awareness. They inspire their teams, keep service flowing, and create the kind of atmosphere that feels welcoming, vibrant and never overwhelming.

We’re looking to grow our current team with individuals who bring their experience from hospitality, bars and restaurants — people who understand fast‑paced service, know how to elevate the guest journey, and thrive in lively, all‑day environments.

Successful candidates will have a proven track record in busy hospitality operations: leading customer‑facing teams, maintaining exceptional service under pressure, managing stock and cash controls, ensuring food safety and compliance, and delivering strong commercial results. They’ll be confident people leaders with sharp operational instincts, able to support team development and consistently deliver the warm, memorable hospitality that keeps guests returning.

Job Description

Duty Managers are the calm, confident leaders who keep the business flowing —

guiding the venue through busy days, lively nights and everything in between. They lead the operation with warmth and clarity, ensuring every space feels welcoming, safe and effortlessly well‑run. Alongside their departmental focus, they champion high‑quality hospitality, smooth service and memorable guest experiences across the entire venue.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and motivate front‑line teams, creating a positive, people‑centred atmosphere.
Maintain equipment, stock and station readiness so every area feels prepared, polished and inviting.
Deliver consistent department standards across Cinema, F&B, Activities.
Complete daily safety checks, incident logs and compliance routines with care and accuracy.
Manage stock levels, wastage and replenishment to support smooth service and commercial performance.
Support training, onboarding and ongoing development, helping teams grow with confidence.
Handle first‑line guest escalations with calm professionalism and a
hospitality‑first mindset.
Oversee facilities readiness, ensuring spaces look great, function well and feel welcoming.
Manage cash operations with precision and accountability.

Experience & Qualifications

Experience in hospitality, bars, restaurants, cinema, leisure or events
Strong background in Hospitality and Food & Beverage delivery
Food safety certification
AV / Technical knowledge
Activity safety training
Proven ability to lead busy customer‑facing teams in fast‑paced environments.
Confident managing service standards, stock, cash operations and compliance.

Reporting Lines

Reports to: Operations Manager / Events Manager / General Manager
Manages: Supervisors and front‑line teams

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Experience:

Hospitality: 2 years (required)
F&B Operations: 2 years (required)
