Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant/Bar General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organisational abilities, and a proven track record in management within retail or sales environments. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of motivating teams, managing resources efficiently, and driving business growth. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high standards of customer service, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Duties

Lead and manage all aspects of store or organisational operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and policies.
Supervise and support team management, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives.
Maintain excellent communication with staff at all levels, ensuring clarity of expectations and fostering a collaborative environment.
Monitor financial performance, analyse sales data, and prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements across all operations.
Cultivate strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance brand reputation and business growth.
Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining organisational records with efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven management experience within hospitality sector
Demonstrable supervisory experience with a focus on team management and leadership development.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure
Experience in managing budgets, analysing financial data, and implementing operational improvements.
Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive interactions with staff and customers alike.
Proficiency in administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and record keeping.
Leadership qualities combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
