Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiner/Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and joinery, with the ability to create high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a passion for craftsmanship. The Joiner/Cabinet Maker will work closely with other team members to bring their visions to life through custom cabinetry.

Position arising due to retirement

Duties

Construct and assemble cabinets and furniture using various materials, ensuring high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively, including saws, drills, and sanders, to shape and finish wood components.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately create custom designs.
Perform joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all joints are secure and aesthetically pleasing
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Joiner/Cabinet Maker or in a similar role within the woodworking industry.
Strong skills in joinery, assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read technical drawings and plans accurately.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to woodworking practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
