Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Barista/Bar Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality environment, delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing beverages, serving food, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere within the establishment. Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous, but full training will be provided to the right candidate. This position is paid and suitable for those who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction
Serve food items in accordance with health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of the barista station and dining area throughout shifts
Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems with accuracy
Manage stock levels and restock supplies as needed
Provide friendly and attentive service to all customers, creating a welcoming environment
Follow food safety procedures diligently to ensure compliance with regulations
Assist with general organisation of the premises during quieter periods

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is essential
Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Good organisational skills with effective time management to handle busy periods efficiently
Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings if required (though some roles may be during daytime hours)
A positive attitude, reliability, and enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service
