Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Bar/Floor Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, delivering excellent service and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing friendly customer interactions, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and supporting the smooth operation of the venue. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, and are ideal for those looking to develop their skills within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and food to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
Maintain cleanliness of the bar and floor areas, ensuring a welcoming environment
Take orders accurately and handle cash or electronic payments with basic maths skills
Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring prompt service during busy periods
Follow food safety standards and health regulations at all times
Support colleagues in managing busy shifts by demonstrating excellent time management skills
Engage with guests professionally to enhance their overall experience
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
Strong serving skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Basic maths proficiency for handling transactions accurately
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable but training will be provided
Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities
