Company Overview

The Cheese Bar is a small hospitality group dedicated to celebrating the best in British Cheese, working alongside producers from around the UK to create exciting, seasonal, cheese-centric menus in our 4 restaurants - The Cheese Bar in Camden, Pick & Cheese in Seven Dials Market, The Cheese Barge in Paddington, Rind in Yorkshire.

Summary

We are looking for a HR and Office Administrator to join our small head office team in Clerkenwell to work alongside the Operations Team to help day to day running of the business.

Responsibilities

Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data is accurate and up to date.
Handle administrative tasks related to employee benefits and payroll inquiries.
Communicate effectively with staff regarding HR policies and procedures.
Assist in the implementation of HR initiatives and programs.
Manage data entry tasks related to employee information and performance evaluations.
Overall management of the administrative aspect of HR systems, ensuring all
data is kept up to date
Ensure new starters receive all onboarding documents that are sent out and signed and set up with company access to systems ahead of their commencement of employment
Ensure company trackers are all all up to date (Induction/Anniversaries/Starters/leavers/training)
Sending out HR documentation (eg. probation invites and outcomes, invites to investigations/disciplinary, exit interviews)
Filing HR documentation (chat comms/ RTW/ 121’s)
Chasing managers on calendar reminders of probations and birthdays and anniversaries
Support The Ops Team with all aspects of Employee Lifecycle
Overseeing site calendars and ensuring they are up to date with eg. payroll/period info etc.
Overseeing the “info” inbox and replying to queries
Tock support – planning and creating schedules on Tock and releasing
availability as required. Creating ad hoc event tickets and event pages where necessary
Merchandise management – ensuring appropriate stock levels. Picking up EOP merchandise orders and distributing to sites
Uniform management and ordering, stock control
Posting books and any other items as necessary
Ad hoc typing and administrative jobs that the Ops Team may require assistance

Requirements

People management with hospitality industry in preferred
Administrative experience
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
