Full job description

Support & Impact Manager

12 month fixed-term contract - Must be available to start October 2026.

£40,000 - £46,000 per annum dependant on relevant skills and experience.

Location – Home-based with regular travel across a designated region and to our office as required. This role will cover a region comprising East Riding, Lancashire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, and Sheffield & Hallamshire. The role requires regular travel across this geographical area, and successful candidates must be able to travel throughout the region as required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.

We are the Football Foundation - the Premier League, the FA and government’s charity that delivers outstanding grassroots facilities, more and better places to play, transforming lives and communities where it is needed most.

As Support & Impact Manager, you'll work with organisations after funding has been awarded, helping them successfully deliver projects, comply with grant conditions and maximise the long-term impact of their investment.

You'll build trusted relationships with grant recipients and partners, providing expert advice, guidance and constructive challenge throughout the lifecycle of funded projects. You'll monitor performance, analyse project data, support organisations to overcome challenges, and ensure outcomes are evidenced to demonstrate the value of our investment and protect Funding Partner resources.

This is a varied role combining relationship management, performance monitoring, compliance, data analysis and continuous improvement, offering the opportunity to make a real difference to communities across England.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with experience in grant management, programme management or a similar post-award environment, with a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

You'll be confident providing expert advice, support and constructive challenge to drive performance and achieve successful outcomes. Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret data, produce meaningful reports and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

What can we offer you?

The salary band for this role is £40,000 - £46,000 per annum, dependant on relevant skills and experience.

You will be entitled to 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. The Foundation also offer a generous pension scheme (8% employer contribution), free healthcare provision, a monthly gym subsidy, death in service benefit free match tickets and access to selected events at Wembley
