Full job description

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic individual join our Accounts team in our head Office, in Saltford, Bristol. Please note this is a fixed Term Contract for 12 months

Overview

ROLE: Client Accounts Administrator

Reports To: Finance Manager

Date: March 2026

Role Purpose:

This role is responsible for managing client money processes including unknown funds, overdue payments, debt recovery and wider support across the client accounting function.

· Contacting landlords and tenants to take payments

· Investigating unknown bank transactions and allocating funds

· Processing refunds, fees, holding deposits, deposit returns and dealing with account queries

· Working alongside the Revenue officers to support two hubs on arrears

· Investigating overdue payments and confirming debt validity

· Managing court correspondence and preparing accurate documentation

· Maintaining debtor register and monitoring repayment arrangements

· Invoking debt recovery reminders at 7, 14 and 21 days and updating RPS system

· Issuing reminder notices and summons and monitoring payment arrangements

· Providing help & cover for team tasks as needed

· Updating all branch fees

· Supporting ad hoc finance projects

Expectations:

- High accuracy, strong communication, ability to handle sensitive cases, adaptiveness and strong organisation.

- Proactively answer and call people to take payments and deliver strong customer service

Skills:

- Customer service, attention to detail, organisation, MS Office proficiency, teamwork.

- Ability to work with 3rd party providers in order to provide information for Landlords, Tenant and suppliers (Goodlord, RLP, Auditors, etc)

Experience:

- Experience in lettings client accounting or property finance desirable.
- Understanding of landlord/tenant accounts and client money rules.
- Experience with time‑sensitive processes.
- Experience in outbound communication with clients preferred.
- Familiarity with supplier invoice processing and reconciliations beneficial.

Location: Keynsham/Head office based

Pay: £28,000.00 per year
