Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills and a flair for creating personalised styles that enhance each client's natural beauty. This role offers opportunities for professional growth within a welcoming environment, where customer satisfaction and creativity are highly valued. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, maintaining a professional demeanour, and contributing to the overall success of the salon.

Responsibilities

Providing a wide range of hair styling services including cutting, colouring, blow-drying, and specialised treatments.
Offering personalised consultations to understand clients' preferences and recommend suitable styles.
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with health and safety standards.
Building strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Upselling additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or specialised treatments to enhance client experience.
Mentoring junior staff members and supporting team development through knowledge sharing and guidance.
Managing front desk duties when required, including appointment scheduling and client enquiries.
Demonstrating proficiency in store management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist within a busy salon environment.
Skills in barbering, eyelash extensions, and makeup application are desirable but not essential.
Experience in store management or supervisory roles is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
Previous mentoring experience or the ability to guide junior team members is preferred.
