How you will contribute
We’re looking for someone that can:
· Support the delivery of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, working closely with the Financial Accountant.
· Assistwith preparation of profit and loss accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and key month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, payroll and reclassifications.
· Support revenue recognition, including time and materials analysis, deferred revenue and project cost calculations.
· Maintain ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and supporting VAT returns, corporation tax provisioning and compliance requirements.
· Manag fixed asset register updates, foreign exchange postings, and bank reconciliations.
· Work collaboratively with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure strong financial controls, including invoice approvals and payment run preparation.
· Provid guidance to transactional finance colleagues and supporting utilisation and cost allocation analysis.
· Contribute to process improvements across finance, including system enhancements and reporting accuracy.
· Provide cover for the Financial Accountant when required to ensure continuity of reporting and financial control.
