Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness and organisation of Wennington Hall.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of hygiene, presentation, and guest satisfaction within our esteemed establishment.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in hospitality and janitorial services to lead a team and ensure the smooth operation of our housekeeping department.

Duties

Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring timely completion of daily, weekly, and specialised tasks.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities to uphold quality standards.
Manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and linen, placing orders as necessary to maintain efficient operations.
Train new staff members on cleaning procedures, health and safety regulations, and customer service expectations.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning activities around events or special functions.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including hygiene standards and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
Handle guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.

Experience

Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar hospitality environment.
Strong background in janitorial services with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations.
Previous experience in training staff members is desirable.
Familiarity with hospitality industry standards will be considered an advantage. This role is ideal for a motivated professional committed to delivering exceptional service in a prestigious setting. Pay: Up to £13.50 per hour
