Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Nursery Room Leader to inspire and nurture young children in a vibrant early childhood education environment. As a key leader within our team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating atmosphere where children can thrive. Your leadership skills will ensure that daily activities promote development, learning, and fun while maintaining high standards of childcare. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives through dedicated management and compassionate care.

Duties

Lead and supervise a dedicated team of early childhood educators and assistants to deliver high-quality childcare services.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, needs, and daily experiences.
Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development milestones, and incident reports.
Manage daily operations within the nursery, including resource allocation, activity scheduling, and staff coordination.
Support team members through coaching, mentoring, and ongoing professional development to enhance childcare quality.

Qualifications

Proven management and leadership experience within early childhood education or childcare settings.
Extensive experience working with children in nursery or preschool environments.
Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team with enthusiasm, organization, and a positive attitude.
Childcare qualifications such as CACHE Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred.
Valid driving license is advantageous for roles involving transportation or home visits.
