Full job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive E-Commerce Product Data Entry Assistant to support the management and optimisation of our online product catalogue.

This role is ideal for someone with excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Excel, Adobe Creative Suite and a passion for writing engaging product content.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate product data, creating unique and compelling product descriptions, managing product information within Akeneo, and ensuring all product imagery and content meet company standards.

Key Responsibilities

● Input, update, and maintain product information within our product information management software.

● Manage and organise product data using Microsoft Excel, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all records.

● Write unique, engaging, and SEO-friendly product descriptions that accurately represent products.

● Resize, edit, and optimise product images using Canva and Adobe Photoshop to meet website and marketplace requirements.

● Ensure all product information, specifications, pricing, and attributes are accurately entered with attention to detail.

● Perform quality checks on product listings to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.

● Collaborate with internal teams to gather and verify product details, images, and marketing content.

● Support the ongoing improvement of product content and online customer experience.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

● Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

● Excellent written English and copywriting skills.

● A basic understanding of SEO-optimised content.

● High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

● Strong organisational and time-management skills.

● Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

● Comfortable working with large volumes of product data.

Desirable:

● Experience using Akeneo or other Product Information Management systems.

● Experience with Adobe Photoshop or similar image-editing software.

● Previous experience in an e-commerce, product data, content, or catalogue management role.

● Understanding of e-commerce best practices and online merchandising.
