About the Role

As Dual House Manager, you will provide operational and therapeutic leadership across two homes, ensuring every young person receives exceptional, trauma-informed care within a safe, nurturing and aspirational environment.

You will be responsible for leading an experienced team consisting of:

1 Dual Deputy Manager (working across both homes)
6 Full-Time Residential Support Workers within each home
Bank staff providing additional support when required

Working alongside senior leaders, therapists and the Responsible Individual, you'll help shape a culture built upon consistency, accountability, development and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operation of two OFSTED-regulated children's homes.
Ensure consistently high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance.
Inspire, motivate and develop a high-performing staff team.
Provide effective supervision, coaching and performance management.
Maintain excellent relationships with Local Authorities, families and external professionals.
Ensure all regulatory requirements and company policies are consistently met.
Prepare for and lead OFSTED inspections with confidence.
Drive continuous improvement and quality assurance across both services.
Promote positive outcomes, education, independence and emotional wellbeing for young people.
Manage staffing, rotas, budgets and resources effectively.

You will have:

Essential

Significant management experience within an OFSTED-registered residential children's home.
Strong understanding of the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
Proven experience leading teams and developing staff.
Experience managing safeguarding, risk and complex behaviours.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Qualifications

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (minimum).
