Full job description

TS Metals are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our growing manufacturing team in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high quality standards across a variety of precision-engineered products, including laser-cut components, machined parts and fabrications.

You will be responsible for ensuring all products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and ISO 9001:2015 standards, contributing directly to the continued success and reputation of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out patrol and final inspections of laser-cut parts, machined components and fabrications
Read and interpret engineering drawings and quality specifications
Ensure all products meet internal quality standards and customer requirements
Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation of materials received
Conduct routine and random checks on in-process and finished products prior to dispatch
Identify and report non-conformities to the Workshop Manager and Quality Manager
Use inspection tools such as verniers, micrometers and gauges to verify dimensions
Produce and maintain quality reports using Microsoft Word, Excel or other systems
Support and adhere to procedures in line with ISO 9001:2015

Your skills and experiences:

Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach
Experience investigating quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
Confident communicating with customers and suppliers regarding quality matters
Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive company vehicles when required
Comfortable using computer systems (training provided for Unit 4 system)
