Our expertise includes active fire systems, passive fire protection, electrical services, inspection, maintenance, installation and ongoing technical support, helping customers reduce risk, support compliance and protect the people who live, work and receive services within these environments.

As part of the Axis CLC group, Fieldway’s fire safety and electrical expertise is supported by a wider network of operational, commercial and technical resources across the organisation. This connected approach enables coordinated support alongside broader property maintenance, compliance, refurbishment and decarbonisation capabilities where required by customers.

Overview:

We are seeking an industry-experienced Supervisor to join our Passive Fire Team. You’ll be part of a busy team, working closely with our other Engineers & Operatives, office-based support teams, contractors and our clients, to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our contracts.

Hours:

This role is Mon – Fri, 40 hours perk week. Overtime and weekend work is available as and when. Some reasonable, pre-agreed flexibility may be required on start/finish time in line with works. Pre-arranged travel required occasionally.

Responsibilities:

Supervise passive fire operatives and subcontractors.
Coordinate daily works and site activities.
Ensure works follow drawings, specifications and manufacturers’ instructions.
Inspect fire-stopping works for quality and compliance.
Identify and manage defects and remedial works.
Ensure correct materials and systems are used.
Complete site inspections, check sheets and quality records.
Maintain photographic and installation records.
Ensure operatives follow RAMS and site safety procedures.
Liaise with site managers, clients and other trades.
Monitor progress and ensure works are completed on programme.

Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2/3 in Passive Fire Protection or relevant construction trade
Level 3/4 qualification in Fire Safety or Fire Protection
Relevant passive fire-stopping installation and inspection training
CSCS Skilled Worker/Supervisor card
SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
Manufacturer-specific training for fire-stopping systems
Asbestos Awareness
Health & Safety Awareness
Emergency First Aid at Work
Manual Handling
Working at Height

You must have the right to work in the UK for this role - unfortunately we cannot offer Visa sponsorship. You must have a valid UK driving license, and be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
