Full job description

Company Overview:
We are a leading provider of infrastructure products for the network & telecommunications sector. Our company specialises in the design and supply of enclosures, cooling systems, and ancillary products that play a critical role in the infrastructure rollout of blue-chip companies and their contractors.

Location: Sheriff Hutton, North Yorkshire

Working Hours:
Day Shift: 39 hours per week

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Overtime may be required to meet customer deadlines

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and meet tight deadlines
Flexible and willing to learn new skills
Practical, efficient, and capable of prioritizing workload in a fast-paced environment
Enthusiastic about joining a growing company and proactive in identifying opportunities for quality and productivity improvements

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electro-mechanical assembly of components, including sheet metal assemblies and basic electrical component assembly
Read and interpret assembly drawings, specifications, and instructions accurately
Conduct precise measurements and ensure angular orientation of components
Maintain consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and adherence to health & safety procedures
Continuously develop skills and knowledge to enhance performance in the role
Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by the company

Qualifications

Proficiency in assembly work
Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup
Experience with hand and power tools
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and quality control
