Job Summary
We are looking for an exceptional, sharp, and highly capable Part-Time Bartender to join our team in a busy city centre bar. This isn't an entry-level position—we need an autonomous professional who is quick on their feet, possesses genuine hospitality intuition, and can use their initiative from day one.

If you are a fast learner who thrives under pressure and doesn’t need to be micro-managed, you’ll fit right in.

The Shifts This is a part-time role tailored around our peak hours. You won’t be doing any weekday day shifts. Your schedule will mostly consist of weekday evening cover and weekend shifts (day or evening). Perfect for fitting around other daytime commitments, as long as you are fully available for weekend trade.

Key Responsibilities:

High-Volume Drink Service: Preparing cocktails and premium drinks quickly and efficiently during peak city-centre hours.
Exceptional Guest Hospitality: Engaging with customers, managing the bar floor atmosphere, and delivering seamless service.
Food Handling: Preparing and presenting simple, high-quality cold food boards (charcuterie/pastries) adhering to food hygiene standards.
Bar Closing Procedures: Confidently managing the end-of-night clean-down and securing the bar setup so it is ready for the next day's trade (no cash-ups required).

What We Need From You (Minimum Criteria for Consideration):

Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years working within the busy hospitality/service industry, with specific, proven bar training and cocktail/mixology knowledge.
Sharp Initiative: A proactive mindset—someone who sees what needs doing (restocking, clearing, prepping) and just does it.
Fast Learner: Ability to adapt quickly to our menu, layout, and speed of service.
Core Competencies: Basic maths skills for processing orders accurately on the EPOS system and a strong understanding of UK Licensing laws (Challenge 25).
