Full job description

Fine Lady Bakeries is a family owned business based in the middle of Banbury for over 50 years with a track record of continual investment. The production of daily fresh bread products has given security of employment to multiple generations of local families in a culturally diverse setting. We are one of the biggest bakeries in Europe, having grown significantly over the years and opened a second bakery in Manchester, providing bakery products for a number of the major supermarkets.

We are looking to recruit long term Production Operatives to work at our modern plant bakery in Manchester, working 12 hour shift pattern, 4 days on (06.30-18.30), 4 days off, 4 nights on (18.30-06.30) 4 days off and then the pattern repeats.

As Production Operative you will ensure the efficient running of production and packing to meet product specifications and quality, responding to problems with machines and product and completing all relevant paperwork whilst maintaining high safety standards.

You must have a positive attitude, good communication and numeracy skills, be flexible and able to work as part of a team and have an awareness of food safety. Recent experience of working in a modern production or FMCG environment is desirable.
