About the Role

Euro Foods Group Ltd provides rewarding and fulfilling career opportunities within our Cash & Carry Department. We are looking for experienced and reliable Butchers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cutting a variety of meat products for customers while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and customer service.

This is a hands-on role within a busy retail environment, so the ideal candidate should be confident working independently, have good attention to detail, and be comfortable dealing with customers.

Job Description:

Prepare cuts of meat according to customer specifications and preferences
Trim, bone, tie, grind, and slice meats using various tools and equipment
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the butchery workspace, including equipment and utensils
Receive, inspect, and store incoming meat deliveries
Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding stock needs
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Provide exceptional customer service by offering product recommendations and answering inquiries about cuts and preparation methods
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the butchery department

Skills:

Proven experience as a butcher or meat cutter
Knowledge of different cuts of meat and their optimal uses
Familiarity with meat processing equipment such as knives, saws, grinders, and slicers

Work Authorisation:

Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom

28 days’ annual leave, including public holidays

Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
