Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily office functions, providing administrative support across various departments. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop organisational and clerical skills within a dynamic environment. The ideal applicant will possess strong computer literacy, excellent communication skills, and prior office experience.

Responsibilities

Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Maintain organised filing systems, both digital and physical, ensuring easy retrieval of documents
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars for staff members
Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
Utilise QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks and invoicing processes
Support team members with administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and ordering supplies
Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-maintained to promote efficiency

Requirements

Proven office experience or administrative background is essential
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally via phone and email
Clerical experience that highlights attention to detail and organisational abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
