Join a Leading Renewable Energy Developer

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to play a key role in delivering the UK's transition to net zero?

Olympus Power is a leading developer, owner and operator of commercial and utility-scale renewable energy assets across the UK. With our headquarters in Exeter and a growing presence in Leeds, we are expanding our delivery team and are seeking an ambitious and technically capable Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of rooftop and ground-mounted Solar PV projects ranging from 100kW to utility scale.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing renewable energy business, working on a diverse portfolio of projects and collaborating with industry-leading professionals.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery is safe, efficient, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the delivery of commercial rooftop and ground-mounted Solar PV projects across the UK.
Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, installation teams, consultants and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring milestones and contractual obligations are achieved.
Procure materials, equipment and specialist services in line with project requirements.
Conduct site surveys, pre-construction assessments and technical reviews.
Monitor project budgets, costs, risks and programme performance.
Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
Review and manage RAMS, permits and site documentation.
Maintain accurate project records using CRM and project management systems.
Lead regular project meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
Support commissioning, testing, energisation and project handover activities.
Foster strong working relationships with clients, DNOs, suppliers, contractors and internal teams.

About You

You will be an organised and proactive project professional with a strong technical understanding of Solar PV systems and a passion for delivering high-quality renewable energy projects.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience managing commercial-scale Solar PV projects.
Proven experience delivering both rooftop and ground-mounted Solar PV installations.
Strong understanding of PV system design, construction and commissioning processes.
Knowledge of UK grid connection processes, including G99 and G100 requirements.
Ability to interpret electrical and Solar PV designs and technical documentation.
APM qualification or equivalent
Excellent project planning, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
Strong commercial awareness and cost management capability.
Confident in MS office applications and CRM (HubSpot preferred)
Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

Electrical contracting background.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related discipline.
Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS).
Knowledge of HV/LV infrastructure and DNO processes.
SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
Experience working on utility-scale renewable energy projects.
