Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a keen eye for detail and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality products that meet our standards of excellence.

Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of bread and other baked goods according to recipes and specifications.
Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during the preparation and baking process.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and baking areas.
Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked items.
Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings.

Requirements

Proven experience in a bakery or similar culinary environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
A passion for baking and culinary arts, with the ability to follow recipes accurately.
Flexibility to work various shifts
Hours are 11pm-7am with Sunday and Thursday as days off.
