Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food & Beverage Team Members to join our dynamic hospitality team at Montigo Resorts, Charlton House. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a vibrant environment, delivering exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and drink, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Serve a variety of food and beverages in accordance with company standards
Assist with catering events, ensuring timely and professional service
Greet guests warmly and take orders accurately, providing exceptional customer service
Set up dining areas, organise tables, and ensure cleanliness throughout the shift
Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems efficiently
Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and allergen information
Uphold food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Experience

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality environments is desirable
Experience working in a restaurant or similar setting is advantageous
Barista experience is a plus but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is preferred
A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or specialised events as needed
