Customer Service Adviser – Join the Team at Abbott’s Security Ltd

Abbott’s Security Ltd, a trusted name in the security industry since 1979, is looking for a Customer Service Adviser to join our team in Dudley.

The Role

You will be the vital first point of contact for our customers, reporting directly to the Managing Director, Geoff Abbott. As the first point of contact for our customers, this role requires a friendly, professional and engaging manner.

Your duties will include:

Telephone Inquiries: Acting as the voice of the company, you will manage incoming calls, provide initial product information, and offer excellent service to all callers.
Customer Engagement: Delivering demonstrations of our security systems and products to visitors.
Administrative Support: Managing day-to-day office tasks, including accurate CRM data entry, invoicing, and scheduling/booking service visits for our engineering team.
Showroom & Office Presentation: Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the entire premises, covering both the showroom and staff areas, to ensure a professional and welcoming environment for all visitors.
Team Liaison: Acting as the essential link between our field engineers and our customers to ensure seamless service delivery.

Flexible Working Options- To ensure we attract the right talent for the team at Abbott's Security, we offer the following flexible working arrangements:

Part-Time: 15 – 25 hours per week, structured to suit varying business needs. We operate on a mutual basis where flexibility is both expected and provided to support a healthy work-life balance.
Full-Time: We may consider a full-time position for the right person, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: £13.50 – £14.00 per hour. (Full-Time: £26,325 - £27,300)
Growth: We offer structured annual salary reviews based on performance.
Holiday Entitlement: 28 days of annual leave (pro-rata for part-time), rising to 33 days after 2 years of service.

Organised: You are capable of handling general office duties efficiently while prioritising your calls.
Trustworthy: As we operate in the security industry, the successful candidate will be subject to satisfactory security screening.
Collaborative: You enjoy working as part of a small team and are happy to communicate with colleagues to ensure seamless coverage.

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
