The role
As a Recruitment Advisor at Next Distribution Limited (NDL), you will play a key role in shaping our teams across Warehousing, Distribution and Manufacturing, UK wide. You are here to lead the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of specialist positions ensuring a smooth, positive journey for every candidate.
Working directly with hiring managers, you will turn resource plans into creative attraction strategies and oversee campaigns from the initial brief right through to onboarding. Based in the heart of our warehousing & distribution operations in South Elmsall with our dynamic in-house team, we will support you with the tools and team environment you need to succeed, helping you navigate our systems and quickly become a trusted recruitment partner within our fast-paced business.
What you'll take on
- Manage the full recruitment cycle
for defined specialist vacancies within Oracle HCM, tracking progress from the initial job requisition through to the final offer.

Partner with key stakeholders within the operations
to take detailed job briefs, write engaging job adverts, and advise them on internal recruitment processes and best practices.

Design and launch targeted attraction strategies,
utilising your knowledge and experience of how to source and engage top talent in the most cost-effective way for NEXT.

Strategic Advising:
Partner with stakeholders to understand the specific capabilities required for the role, ensuring the recruitment approach aligns with departmental goals.

Creative Selection Processes:
Develop innovative and tailored selection methods that look beyond surface-level data to evaluate potential talent effectively, and craft robust, relevant and fair assessment materials to ensure a positive candidate journey for all.

Coordinate the interview and selection process
, including candidate screening, organising psychometric testing, and running assessment events.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement,
constantly refining our processes to ensure we deliver a seamless, best-in-class in-house service to the business.

Oversee the offer and onboarding process
ensuring all required new starter documentation is accurately collated.

Build and maintain relationships
with colleagues across the recruitment and wider HR teams to ensure best practice and effective collaboration in all activities.

Support the Recruitment Business Partner and Recruitment Manager
on wider strategic recruitment projects, while flexibly assisting the broader team in additional recruitment activity including Operative recruitment, early careers, outsourcing and CSR activity.
What you'll bring
- Proven 360 recruitment experience at Advisor level
ideally with experience of sourcing a range of roles gained either from an in-house or agency environment.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
with the ability to build strong professional relationships across the business and with key external partners.

A creative and forward-thinking approach
allowing you to write compelling copy for adverts and seek out new and innovative ways to attract talent to NEXT.

Strong planning and organisational abilities
, with a proven track record of prioritising your own workload and managing ever-changing and competing deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Superb attention to detail
, ensuring accuracy when handling data, compliance documentation, and candidate tracking.

Digital and analytical proficiency
, including experience of Applicant Tracking Systems, CV search databases, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Google Suite. Experience working within Oracle HCM is highly desirable.

Ideally educated
to A-Level standard or equivalent, alongside solid GCSE passes in both Maths and English.

A full UK driving licence
, as travel between our sites will be required.
