Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children, fostering their development in a safe, nurturing environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and committed to supporting their growth through engaging activities and personalised care.

Duties

Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
Supervise and support children during play, learning, and meal times, ensuring their safety at all times
Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork
Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and contributing to personalised care plans
Support the implementation of the nursery’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Lead by example in demonstrating management skills and leadership within the team
Assist in organising nursery routines and activities that encourage early childhood development
Drive responsibilities may include transporting children safely when required

Qualifications

Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education
Proven experience working with children within a nursery or similar setting
Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Knowledge of child development principles and early years curriculum frameworks
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending external activities
Passionate about childcare with a genuine interest in supporting children's learning journeys

This role is ideal for motivated individuals committed to delivering outstanding early childhood education while fostering a warm, inclusive environment for young learners.

Pay: £12.81 per hour
