Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager/Supervisor to lead our bar operations with professionalism and enthusiasm. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily bar activities, manage a team, and ensure exceptional customer experiences in a vibrant environment. The position is fully paid and requires a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of service, safety, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
Lead and motivate the bar team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Oversee food preparation and ensure quality standards are met in all culinary offerings
Manage the serving of beverages and food items, maintaining excellent customer service standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Assist in menu planning, including cocktail creation and beverage selection
Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory control
Train new staff members on service procedures, safety protocols, and product knowledge
Handle customer enquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times

Requirements

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques
Experience in food safety practices and food production processes
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving and hospitality standards
Previous experience working as a barista or in bar management is advantageous
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple tasks effectively
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and safety compliance
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
