Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Commis Chef / Chef de Partie to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Duties

Prepare and cook ingredients according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
Assist in the preparation of various menu items, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing meal preparation and plating
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of orders
Maintain stock levels by monitoring ingredients and notifying management of shortages or expiry dates
Serve dishes to guests with professionalism and a friendly attitude, ensuring a positive dining experience

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety regulations
Excellent kitchen experience with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving procedures and customer service standards
Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining high-quality presentation
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to collaborate effectively with colleagues
Enthusiasm for learning new skills and advancing within the culinary industry
