Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Domestic Electrical Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within residential properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in electrical work and a passion for delivering high-quality service to homeowners. The position requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence is essential, as travel between sites will be necessary.

Duties

Install and upgrade electrical systems in domestic properties, including lighting, sockets, switches, and appliances.
Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing electrical installations to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Assist with the installation and maintenance of CCTV systems and other security devices.
Troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently and safely, providing solutions that meet client requirements.
Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice on electrical options and solutions.
Ensure all work complies with current safety standards and building regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used for each project.
Support IT-related tasks where necessary, including network cabling or system integration.

Requirements

Proven experience in domestic electrical installation and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to operate various tools and equipment related to electrical work safely.
Valid driving licence is required for travel between different job sites.
Experience with CCTV installation, IT systems, or maintenance is desirable but not essential.
Customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction throughout all stages of work.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Pay: £24,420.00-£50,252.60 per year
