Full job description

Job Summary

Simply The Best Stage School is looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Class Leader to launch our brand-new Early Years Musical Theatre class for children aged 3–6.

This is an exciting opportunity to help young children develop confidence, creativity and a love of performing through singing, drama, movement and imaginative play.

Working alongside our Director, you will plan and deliver engaging weekly sessions in a fun, supportive environment where every child feels encouraged to participate and grow. If you're passionate about working with children and believe in building confidence through the performing arts, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging musical theatre sessions for children aged 3–6.
Teach basic singing, drama, movement and imaginative play activities.
Create a fun, safe and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Encourage confidence, creativity and participation.
Work closely with the Director and Class Assistant.
Prepare children for performances and community events.
Communicate professionally with parents and carers.
Follow safeguarding, health & safety and company policies.

Skills

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with students of diverse backgrounds.
Empathy and patience when working with learners of varying abilities.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing classroom needs or organisational priorities.
Previous experience in education or youth programmes is desirable but not essential; a genuine interest in student development is required.
Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative independently.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
