Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for food safety and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft delicious pizzas in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality service for our valued customers. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting authentic pizzas while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency.

Duties

Prepare ingredients for pizza making, including dough, toppings, and sauces
Make fresh pizza dough from scratch
Cook pizzas to perfection using traditional methods and modern kitchen equipment
Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area
Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as required
Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
Serve pizzas promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service in a busy restaurant environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably within a restaurant setting
Knowledge of culinary techniques specific to pizza making is desirable
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills and teamwork orientation
Passion for delivering high-quality meals and exceptional customer service
